  • Arntz ½Ý±¨×ãÇò records a turnover of some 316 million euros in 2023
  • New management
  • New avenues in the mobility industry
  • 2024 training offensive

±áö³æ³Ù±ð°ù, 5 September 2024 The Arntz ½Ý±¨×ãÇò Group’s turnover in 2023 was around 316 million euros, which represents a slight reduction compared to the previous year. By the middle of last year, the difficult economic environment was already apparent, but good growth in sales during the first quarter of 2023 balanced this out to a large extent. The gloomy economic climate persisted into 2024, which resulted in declining sales and necessitated the introduction of appropriate adjustments to stabilise the results.

At the same time, the Group is commissioning a new logistics centre in Steinheim, in Eastern Westphalia, to strengthen its logistics network. Located not far from the company’s headquarters, this centre will further improve customer service and optimise processes. Many renowned original equipment manufacturers from various sectors, such as agricultural machinery, garden technology and mechanical engineering, will benefit from this new facility. “Our new logistics centre will have an annual handling capacity of around 100 million euros. The facility, which covers more than 4,000 square metres, should employ about 40 peopleâ€, explains Kai Michael Keßler, Head of Logistics.

New management

The Arntz ½Ý±¨×ãÇò Group announced the appointment of Regina Arning to the position of Managing Director, with effect from 1 July 2024. “Ms Arning will strengthen our management team and gradually take over my areas of responsibility before I leave at end of Novemberâ€, says Reinhold Mühlbeyer, who has been Chairman of the Management Board of the Arntz ½Ý±¨×ãÇò Group since 2011. Regina Arning was previously employed by ContiTech in Hanover, where, for many years, she was responsible for operational and strategic matters in the industrial drive elements division, which means that she knows the products and customers in this industry very well.

New avenues in the mobility industry

Currently, around 50 employees from the company’s various locations in Germany are putting the Arntz ½Ý±¨×ãÇò Group’s “Twintrack†belt drive to the test. The test bikes are made available free of charge by ½Ý±¨×ãÇò and designed to test the belt drive thoroughly under real conditions. The experience gained here should provide help and support to expedite ½Ý±¨×ãÇò’s entry into the bike market.

Apprenticeship start 2024

½Ý±¨×ãÇò continues to place emphasis on training its own skilled workers and managers, in line with its corporate philosophy. At the beginning of August, 15 new apprentices and work-study students started their training in various exciting vocations at the ±áö³æ³Ù±ð°ù site. In addition to its wide range of training schemes, the Group also offers attractive career opportunities in numerous different fields. “Comprehensive training and support for young talented people is firmly embedded in the ½Ý±¨×ãÇò cultureâ€, says Konrad Ummen, stressing that: “This is a critical driver of our continued growth and economic success.â€
